Copper Nickel Threaded Rods consist of 90% copper and 10% nickel (90/10) or 70% copper and 30% nickel (70/30) with minute iron and manganese. The rods possess tensile strengths of 350–500 MPa, high corrosion resistance, and heat stability. The material is non-magnetic, anti-biofouling, and erodible and cavitation-resistant. The Cu-Ni rods are suitable for both low and moderate temperature applications. They are also stress-cracking resistant and resistant to oxidizing acids.
